There is one last piece of hardware vastly more intelligent than any fitness device will ever be: the body. Observing metrics like RHR, HRV, and Deep Sleep only serves us to a certain extent. We must not forget to tune in to the body and listen to its intelligence.
Perceived Recovery is our subjective sense of how well we have recovered, and it should be used as regularly as objective measurements from devices. If our numbers suggest low recovery but we feel great, go be great. There is no need to abide strictly by a number. Listen to the body and find a balance that works for you.
